Facilities

At Little Peoples Daycare, our goal is to continually update our facilities to provide children and their families with the best possible experience. Our space features 10 large classrooms, a spacious gymnasium, a splash pad for the summer months, and 2 outdoor play areas with artificial grass. All our indoor spaces are climate controlled for all seasons.

Classrooms

Our center has 10 large classrooms.  Each classroom is 1,200 – 1,300 sq. ft. providing ample space for children to explore and engage.  They are all arranged and decorated age-appropriately to make your child feel at home. Each classroom has its own bathroom, change area, locker space (for each child) and areas of interest for your child to explore:

  • welcoming area upon arrival
  • cozy corner for book readings and quiet time
  • free flow art areas for expression and creativity
  • block centers for motor skills, problem solving, and math skills
  • dramatic play for social interaction, self-regulating their feelings and emotions, language development and role play
  • water and sensory stations
Gymnasium

Our climate-controlled gymnasium provides your child with a great environment to engage with others and participate in both free play and organized games. The gymnasium is divided into two spaces; the first space features a variety of playhouses and climbers atop mats, while the second is used for open play where children can ride bikes, scooters, wagons, and play games.

Playgrounds

Our outdoor Preschool space features 7,000 square feet of playground, including a splash pad, multi-platform climber with four slides, a huge sand play area, water fountain and a cartoon themed wall which allows your child to have a different environment that is always full of fun!

We have a separate playground for our Toddlers with age appropriate climbers, slides and ride-on toys that allow the children to explore and engage in gross motor play.

Both playgrounds are atop artificial grass, which means year-round access, and no more mud!

Lobby and Hallways

Our lobby and hallways are bright and inviting. The hallways feature a personal locker for every child and a hydration station.

Auditorium

Our auditorium seats 500 people and is used for special events and large gatherings such as Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Graduation, and more. These events are a chance for friends and family to partake in milestones and create special memories with their child.

Kitchen

Our facilities feature two kitchens: a commercial-grade kitchen where our full-time kitchen staff create fresh meals daily, and a learning kitchen that is used in our camp programs, preschool prep and junior kindergarten class.

Parking Lot

Our spacious parking lot will ensure you can always find a spot quickly. It features LED lights and links up with our sidewalk so you can safely access the daycare with strollers.

Little People’s was my daughters first experience away from home, and from day one it has been amazing. Even though she was hesitant at first the staff always made her feel comfortable and helped her ease through her new transitions.
